Dolphins on Strike (look and listen!!! they have a Message)

Authorities were surprised by the sheer number of dolphins stranded in the province. It was not uncommon in the Philippines for dolphins and whales to be stranded in shallow shorelines, but this is the first time that over 300 were beached at the same time.

At around 3:30 pm, all the dolphins have left the shoreline and swam towards the high seas. However, three dolphins died, including a female pregnant dolphin.
listen to their simple message: STOP DESTROYING THEIR ENVIRONMENT! STOP KILLING THEM!
OJT Narrative Report
Now-a-days Call Center is the top rating job Philippines, because of the trend of outsourcing business. Last summer I decided to spend OJT on a call center. THOTW Contact Solutions stated their call center business early this year.
On May 2008 I worked at THOTW Contact Solutions as an on-the-job trainee call center agent. As a trainee here are the things that I’ve learned about being a call center agent.
· The time zone of this job is different from the other jobs. The employees have to start working 3 O’clock in the morning, for they have to ride on with the time zone of the states that they are calling. We start our work at 3o’clock in the morning. We called a certain outbound account from 3am-12pm.
· The agent’s has to have a good English communication skill to be able to communicate well with the customer that they are calling to.
· They got to have a proper product knowledge to sell the product well o0r make a good appointment with their customer, and also to be able to answer some of the costumers question about the certain product that you are selling to them.
· The agent must never sound salesy, or sounds like they are really calling the costumer to sell something.
· The agent has to build rapport with their customer to make the customer trust them.
· Most of the time the agent cannot make a sale or an appointment at one call transaction only. For there are costumers that has to make the decision with their family or spouses that the agent has to be required to call back. So during the series of call backs that agent has to do some probing.
Inuyasha
“Inuyasha” takes place in feudal Japan. The story begins with Kikyou shot Inuyasha with her arrow and sealed him to a tree. She then died and her body was burned along with the Shikon Jewel. Then it shifted to current Japan. Kagome and her family lived on ancient ground of an old well. On her 15th birthday, she was pulled into the well by a centipede demon. After she got out of the well, she was in feudal Japan. She then saw a boy with dog ears pinned to a tree. A group of people showed up and thought that she was a demon in disguise. They captured her and brought her to the town priestess, Kaede. Kaede noticed that Kagome resembled her late sister, Kikyou. Later that night, the centipede demon attacked the village looking for Shikon Jewel. Kagome ran back to the forest. At that time, Inuyasha woke up because he smells the blood of the woman who killed him. The demon attacked Kagome and jewel felt out of her stomach. Kagome was desperate to stay alive, so she pulled the arrow out of Inuyasha, freeing him. Inuyasha killed the centipede demon, then demanded the jewel for himself. Kaede helped Kagome by placing a spell necklace around Inuyasha. All Kagome had to say was “sit” and Inuyasha will fall to the ground. Kaede said that Kagome is the reincarnation of her sister, Kikyou. Now, it is her job to protect the jewel. A crow demon later stole the jewel. While fighting it, Kagome broke the jewel with her arrow. The jewel fragments scattered everywhere. Kaede said that Inuyasha and Kagome have to work together to collect the jewel, because Kagome is the only one who can see/sense the fragments.
This would be a somewhat of an easy task, except for the fact that every demons and some humans are also after the jewel. The real excitement begins when Inuyasha’s older brother, Sesshoumaru, showed up and wanted to kill Inuyasha. Thing starts to really heat up when Kikyou was brought back to life by a demon. Then Inuyasha and company found out about a demon named Naraku, who was responsible for Kikyou and Inuyasha’s deaths 50 years ago. Inuyasha’s new goals are to collect the jewel and destroy Naraku. Along the road, more people joined the group to destroy Naraku. The first was a little fox demon named Shippou. They then met up with a corrupt priest, Miroku. Last, a demon exterminator, Sango, also joined their quest to find the jewel and kill Naraku.

College Life
I’ve already spent 6 years in college. I’ve been through 3 different schools in college and had 3 different courses, but then at last I’ll be graduating this March 2009. Well I just hope nothing bad will happen to mix up my race to the finish line.
Let’s start from the first school a attended on. ACLC (AMA Computer Learning Center)
I took up Computer System Design and Programming, a two year course. I learned a lot about programming stuff, and computer basics. After I graduated, I decided to get a job. I applied on a fast food company (Greenwich) I stayed in the job for about 2 months only, cause my mom decide that I should proceed on to a bachelor course, cause it would be easier for me to get a decent job if I graduate in a 4 year course.
I was sent to my 2nd school Foundation University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. I took up Bachelor in Science in Information Technology (BSIT). This school was great. In just a year and a half that I’ve stayed there I learned a lot. My teachers, classmates and friends were great. I learned to speak “cebuano”. I’ve joined different organizations. Inside the school we were required to speak in English. Everything about me was enhanced and developed in that school. The school was great and so as the tuition fees and other expenses, cause I’m far away from home.
While I was there I really have to get a job while I’m studying. On my early months I had 3 job at once all part times, cause I’m still a student, that’s why I always came home late. My last job while I was there was in a fast food company again (Jollibee) I worked a graveyard shift that was 12mn till 6am and I got class at around 8am. I only slept for about 2-4 hours a day while I was there. That daily routine affected my health as well as my studies. I got sick and had absences on my class, but I have no choice, without work I cannot afford my needs for school and other basic stuff. Because of my critical condition in there, my mom decide to let me go back home and just study here in Roxas.
Filamer Christian College is my 3rd school, here I am now taking up Bachelor in Science in Computer Science. The funny thing about it was, every level of my educational background, FCC will always be found, I guess being a filamerian really has to be my fate.

This is one of my favorite quote from my favorite movie. “StarDust”
“You know when I said I knew a little about love. That wasn’t true I know a lot about love. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen centuries and centuries of it. That’s the only thing that make watching your world bearable. With all of those wars, pain lies and hate, make me want turn around and never look down again. But to see the way that man kind loves. You can search the farthest riches of the universe and never find anything more beautiful. So yes, I know that love is unconditional, but I also know it can be unpredictable, unexpected, uncontrollable, unbearable and strangely easily to mistake for loading what I’m trying to say Tristan is that, I think I love you. My heart it feels like my chest can barely contain it, like it doesn’t belong to me anymore it belongs to you. And if you want it, I wish for nothing in exchange. No gifts no goods, no demonstrations of devotions, nothing but knowing you love me too, just your heart in exchange for mine.”
